Spotting fleas isn’t always easy. They’re tiny, quick and can disappear deep into your dog’s coat before you’ve even realised they’re there.
You may notice increased scratching, nibbling or licking, small dark specks in the coat, or simply that your dog seems more unsettled than usual.
What is a Flea Bath?
A flea bath is a professional grooming treatment designed for dogs that have fleas or show signs of flea activity. Your dog is thoroughly bathed and their coat carefully worked through, with particular attention paid to areas where fleas and flea dirt can be difficult to spot.
It’s a practical first step when fleas have made an unwanted appearance.
A flea bath can help break the cycle and give your dog some relief, but it's just part of the solution.
What a Flea Bath does and doesn't do.
What it does:

Kills fleas on your dog (using a veterinary approved shampoo.

Helps remove fleas and flea dirt from the coat.

Soothes itchy, irritated skin.

Leaves your dog clean, comfortable and smelling fresh.
What it doesn't do:

It doesn't prevent future infestations.

It doesn't kill flea eggs, larva or pupae in your home.

It won't stop fleas in your environment (e.g. carpets, bedding, furniture)
